Every journey has to start somewhere. From one store in 1999 to the opening of its 500th store in 2009, Apparel has amassed our resources to becoming a heavy weight retailing conglomerate. With our sights firmly on becoming the topmost global retailer, Apparel are all set to cross new barriers and create fresh benchmarks in the retail industry.

Along this journey, Apparel has set several milestones. In 1999 we signed up Nine West, paving the way for its first store in Lamcy Plaza. Within two years Apparel had opened 11 more and made Nine West a household name among the brand conscious.

Apparel Group opened its first retail store outside UAE Sabco Muscat Oman.

In the year 2001, Apparel brought Aldo, the leading global shoes and accessories brand to the UAE and in three weeks Apparel had 4 ALDO stores all across the UAE.

In 2002 Apparel signed an agreement with Dune, UK's favorite foot wear and accessories brand.

In 2003 Apparel slipped comfortably into the world of women's shoes, boots, sandals and handbags. We launched Naturalizer in the region.

2004 was a significant period in our history as Apparel made forays into the Singapore and Poland markets. The very same year we procured Kenneth Cole New York for the region. Kenneth Cole's range of watches, boots, clothing and accessories helped us ramp up our fashion presence in the Middle East.

Apparel launched eight new brands including the ever popular Sketchers. Apparel also unveiled 29 new stores across Dubai, 14 in Ibn Batuta Mall and 15 in the Mall of the Emirates.

In 2006 the Apparel Group had finished one whole decade in the business and we were not about to slow down just yet. That year Apparel launched the upstate New York fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger.

Apparel also expanded our operation into Russia with four brands and 16 stores. The very same year Apparel received the ISO 9001-2000 certification, regarded as the world's foremost quality management recognition. Truly Apparel had made our presence felt globally.

In 2007 Apparel upped the ante by launching 20 new stores in Dubai Festival City in addition to adding three more brands to our already vast repertoire - Anne Klein, Cold stone Creamery and Jeans West.

In the following year 2008, our most prolific year. Apparel opened 33 new stores, all in a single day at the Dubai Mall. 2008 was also the year that Apparel signed up Aeropostale.

At the very same time Apparel moved our offices to the Jebel Ali Free Zone. Custom build serve as the hub to our expansion frenzy.

2009 saw us reach the magical figure of 500 stores. In 2009 Apparel signed up another brand - Garage. Our dream to be known as a retailing conglomerate was now without doubt a reality. Our vision and business plan stood vindicated. Apparel group was here to stay at the high tables of the retailing business.

In 2010, Apparel launched the Canadian fast fashion brand teenage girls - Garage, opening its first store in Mirdif City Center, Apparel also launched it's much awaited unique Card less Loyalty program 'Club Apparel' which revolutionized the way customers looked at loyalty programs. Apparel bangs the Dubai Human Development Appreciation Award.

In 2011, Apparel launched one of North America's most successful restaurant chains, Tim Hortons opening its first store in at Sheikh Zayed Road. Within a span of a few months Apparel has opened Tim Hortons at 5 Locations in UAE.
