Over the last 15 years Dune has become the leading fashion footwear and accessories retailer with 42 stores and 30 concessions in the UK and Ireland. Dune's international operations were launched in the Middle East in 2001. Within the Middle East, there are 14 stores in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Bahrain and Jordan. A further 1 new store in Dubai is due to open for April 2010.

Dune's first store in Moscow, Russia opened in December 2006 with further stores in the region imminent.

In 2006 Dune opened their flagship store in the heart of Covent Garden, London, one of the most prestigious shopping locations in the world. This store has raised the profile of the brand and allowed them to showcase their ranges in a vibrant and original retail environment.

Dune's achievements were recognized in 2007 when in the UK they were awarded the coveted Footwear Retailer of the Year Award.

Within the Middle East in 2007 and 2008 respectively Dune won the prestigious Rising Star Retail Award and the Award for Dubai Service Excellence Scheme in the category "Medium Business Category". This year Dune bagged the DSES award as the Best Service Performance Outlet Footwear Category.
